Zara is a gorgeous young pointer at just over one year old, she has come from a kennel in Toledo, Central Spain, her date of birth is estimated at 01/05/23. Zara travelled to a foster home in the UK in August and has thrived in a home environment.
Zara is a beautiful, active young dog, she looks like she is mainly pointer type breeds, maybe some German pointer and other continental pointers and she has very unusual colouring, she is stunning dog.
Zara has a lovely nature, she is shy initially with new people but she soon gains confidence and she is very affectionate and attached with people. With other dogs Zara is very sociable and friendly, she shared a kennel with two other young pointers and she shares games and even food without any problems. She currently lives with another pointer and could potentially live as an only dog in the right environment. Zara is an active dog, she loves to run and go for long walks but also has quiet moments in the home, she is a very balanced dog.
In her foster home Zara has experienced so much life – campervan outings, cats, horses, children, fireworks, delivery drivers and has a beautifully balanced response – cautiously inquisitive. She was not upset by fireworks and has great potential for loose lead walking and recall though these will need to be developed her adopters. She’s a very clever girl, learning commands quickly and has been clean in the home since she arrived. She loves to chew toys and she’s very food motivated!
