Could you offer a quiet, secure and stable home for a dog in need? Would you like to adopt a dog who’s had a challenging start to life? We are looking for 2 wonderful homes for these very special dogs.
Very loving, sweet natured and characterful small mixed breeds. They are looking for a home separately which will be a really loving, stable, caring, forever home, where they will not be under pressure to go out to busy places or meet too many people. You will however be active and enjoy a good paced daily country walk with additional playtime outside in the garden.
You will be very experienced with dogs and have a secure fenced outdoor space, the more rural the better. If you have another dog they will be very calm, steady and kind who will be able to provide gentle socialisation and support.
You will have an Adult only household or older dog savvy teenagers please.
These sensitive pups had a poor start to life as they were rescued from a hoard so they had a very distressed mother and were born into chaos. Dogs from hoards have delayed developmental learning and always carry that difficulty through their life. They have been in a reablement placement building confidence and learning about the world. They have been spayed and are physically strong and recovered but do have behavioural delay so need to have quiet predictable lives with lots of love and support. You will be supporting their development going forward to continue that structure and safety so it’s important you enjoy training.
Follow up calls will be made to you once you have detailed in an email your experience and the opportunity you have available within your life.
After an initial telephone suitability check we will schedule a home visit and discuss the next stage of our process.
Please note a rehoming contract will be issued with a small adoption fee of £250 applicable. We look forward to receiving serious enquiries from invested, committed rehomers and we will offer a wealth of support and advice to ensure the success for these little treasured pup’s new homes.
