15year old gelding cob, this boys a weight carrier, stands at around 14 hands and is looking for a new forever home, I thought he'd be with us forever but due to teenager loosing interest and me never having ridden he needs a new family to love him.
This is not an easy sale I want someone who will give him the time and patience he deserves
Badger has been with us for almost 3 years and has just been ridden for fun, he hacks out well in company ,and alone , he is not fazed by cars busses or Lorrie’s ,he lunges well and has thought my daughter and another young teenager to ride properly, he loves to have fun he will pop some little jumps and with time jump a little higher.
He will stand to be groomed as long as he has a juicy hay net and is happy to have his hoofs picked. He is good for the fairer but doesn't like the dentist so we have him slightly sedated and also his sheath cleaned while he's drowsy.
He catches well , and travelled well but hasn’t been loaded for a while ,
Badger is happy to sleep out all year, he has been going in a stable when the weather is really bad and is fine stabled so long as he has a friend.
We would ask that his new home has other horses or at least a friend .
Ideally looking for a young girl who has the confidence to boss him on the ground when he gets grumpy and can ride, or mother daughter share , he has had many years of children bouncing about on his back as he has been a riding school pony in the past ., He now needs a nice little rider who will give him some leg to get him going and have fun.!!
Badger is fully vaccinated, up to date with the farrier and dentist and has a up to date passport .

I am selling him with full wardrobe and riders clothing if wanted .
Including a new fitted farrington saddle , he would have everything you need to start enjoying him straight away !!
