Please note - THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE, I am simply looking for a foster home for a period of time. There is no option on this site for that hence, the 'for sale' tab was chosen.
If you are considering owning parrots then this situation will allow you to experience that without the long-term commitment. Then you can make a more educated decision about this species and what's it's like to keep parrots.
It is with an extremely heavy heart that I need to find my 'babies' a foster home. I recently split up with my partner of 13 years and am not getting the support I definitely need and am not able to dedicate enough time to sorting my life out as I always put the care of my birds first. I plan on moving abroad and need to sort my flat out here in London (they currently have my spare bedroom so that doesn't really work when trying to show people your flat) and find a job and new place to live - which will be abroad.
My intention is to do that and come back for them. I don't know how long this will take so I'm looking for a situation that is stable and flexible.
My birds live like a king and queen so there's a lot of boxes that need to be ticked in order for me to even consider talking on the phone/meeting etc. If you understand what I'm saying and you are interested in providing a foster home for them, please reach out with as much information as possible from the outset. Bonus points if you live in London as that would be ideal for me plus there is a certified avian vet in East Sheen near Richmond.
