Description
DOLLY is a 7 year old, female, 3/4 French Bulldog x 1/4 Pug. She can live with other dogs (pending successful meets), and horses! We think she'd be best with older children. We do not know how she is with cats.
This amazing girl has been in foster for 3 months, while she has undergone medical treatment for a tumour. Sadly, her previous family had to surrender her due to the treatment she needed. However, she is now fully healed and ready to find her forever home.
Poor Dolly has really been through the mill over the last few months, but her amazing character and attitude have carried her through it all. Everyone who meets her, including her vet, loses their heart to her. She absolutely adores meeting people and will throw herself at them for belly rubs!
Dolly loves fuss and cuddles, and she is better than a hot water bottle on chilly days. Her appreciation for attention extends to accepting general grooming (including teeth brushing, bathing, nail clipping etc). Dolly has also been wonderful at her vet visits, despite being in pain.
She is fully housetrained and is great at requesting to go outside when she needs to. In the house, she likes to snuggle in and under bedding - at night time, she likes you tuck her in! However, when she is sleeping on the sofa, she doesn't like to be disturbed - hence why she needs a home without young children.
If you need to leave her alone, she doesn’t whine, cry or bark at all.
She enjoys her walks and opportunities for new sniffs, but is equally happy to potter around the garden. Dolly walks well on a harness or collar, and is good off-lead too. She has been walking well with other dogs.
While Dolly is living happily with other dogs in her foster home, she likes to be the centre of attention and enjoys her world a certain way. Dolly is the Queen of her household, and lives happily with other dogs who accept this.
Driving Miss. Dolly will be easy as she travels well in the car, but is better in a crate (or else she'd be driving!)
Dolly is the funniest, sweetest, sassiest little dog her foster mum has come across and she keeps her foster family well entertained at home.
