We bought Milo on here about a week ago. Now we bought him from a seller who wasn’t completely honest with us about his behaviour. Milo is a loving dog when he is in calm and surrender. However, he finds it difficult to listen to us, and has bitten my partner. We can no longer have Milo because of this as we live on a narrow boat and we feel the environment is triggering him to bite as he feels scared.
Milo had a handful of behavioural issues including:
-pulling on the lead.
-lunging at cars.
-does not want to come back after a walk/ does not want to stop playing.
-has bitten my partner (which has gotten worse now) due to having to touch his collar in a emergency situation.
-barking when he wants to play/walk.
-his recall is good, however we struggle to put him on a lead once he comes to us.
-his urge to herd animals, and children. (He is However excellent with other dogs).
We feel that this is Milo’s last option, and we hope he is able to find the right home where the owner who has a big outdoor space with plenty of time for trainer.
Milo needs to be with someone who understands Collies, and is aware he can bite.
Milo is NOT suitable for a home with young children.
We are not asking any money for Milo, we just want him to go to a good home.
