Description
Looking for an experienced crested gecko owner for my pet crested gecko. Selling him with his full enclosure. I sadly don't have the time to care for him or his tank properly anymore and I feel he would be better off with someone who does have the time to really give him good care. I believe he would be suitable for breeding too. He is a Cream extreme harlequin crested gecko. Lineage: Rude Awakening x Honey Dew produced by Skin Candy geckos, but purchased him from Crimson Cresties in 2021. Current weight: 45g. He's a sweet boy, loves exploring and isn't shy at all (sits at the front of his tank watching you!) but can be jumpy when handled so I haven't been handling him much unfortunately. He would probably do well with someone who could handle him more confidently and let him explore outside the tank occasionally. His health has been completely fine ever since I've had him, never had to take him to the vet or had any issues at all. His set up is currently a sort of hybrid bioactive terrarium (exo terra 45x45x60cm) with some cord vines, a coconut, plastic feeding ledge, cork bark and a fake plant to provide more coverage. I created the bioactive setup around feb 2023 and it was doing well until recently. Many of the plants have died (only the parlour palm and a small part of a pothos remains) and I don't have the time to replant new ones or fix the current state of it so I am resorting to faux plants at the moment so it would be great if whoever takes him could fix his tank up with some more real plants. The cleanup crew are doing well (as pictured); isopods and springtails (could maybe do with more springtails) and I've left some plant matter on the tank floor for them. He has a purely cgd based diet - loves apricot and watermelon flavours! His previous owner did offer him crickets which he enjoyed but I have not been feeding him bugs. I did offer him dubia roaches once but he wasn't interested. I will be selling him along with all the equipment I have for his tank too: lighting (arcadia jungle dawn LED), komodo dual gauge hygrometer/thermometer, misting spray bottle, metal tongues, reptile safe cleaning spray, thermostat controller, heating mat for winter, extra plastic food cups, pangea watermelon cgd (8oz new bag), plastic pet carrier. Also have the pro t5 arcadia light but don't use it anymore. If you have any questions/would like more info please contact :)
