Vera is a 17 month old 11 kg Cypriot hound girl. She flew to the UK a few weeks ago and has settled in with her foster family.
Vera was rescued by us from a local pound, she was terrified and found it hard to trust humans. We will never know Vera's past but since being in her foster home she has come on in leaps and bounds. She is a beautiful happy soul who has grown in confidence and is ready to find her forever home.
Vera loves to run and play and needs a home with a large secure garden. She would benefit hugely if her adopters were experienced but any adult only home with people who understand that the needs of a rescue dog are ones of love, time, patience and lots of reassurance to help her settle into her forever home.
Vera has never been around young children but she is fine with a dog savvy cat. She would benefit greatly from having another young dog who she could bond with and who will teach her how to be a member of her new family.
Vera has the potential to be the most amazing dog and the super special humans that offer her a home will be rewarded with loyalty and unconditional love and will have the satisfaction of experiencing what it is to truly rescue a dog.
