Bella is a pretty girl who was rescued from the streets in Hungary. She was adopted from us last year but, unfortunately, the family feel they can’t keep her any longer. She is a lovely girl but will guard her home and be vocal when people she doesn’t know visit. She is cautious of unknown humans.
However, her foster mum also says: Bella is an active girls who loves her walks and playtime. She enjoys playing with other dogs once she has had time to get to know them. She is very sweet natured and enjoys time with her humans. She is alert to change – for example, deliveries or visitors to the house and is cautious of other dogs and people when out. We have been working on building her confidence and helping her to relax at home so that she is less concerned about these things. She is doing really well and has settled in with our dogs very happily. When walking, she needs her space to determine if other people and dogs are ‘safe’ before being approached, so it is her adopters’ duty to make her feel secure and safe in the early days of adoption. She loves playing games and responds well to positive reward training. She is an incredible sniffer dog! Loves to find hidden treats and small items that smell of her human! She is a perfect companion and will never let her humans feel alone – she’s always there if you need her! She is a sweetheart who needs a committed person to show her she can trust them.
She is a very intelligent, kind hearted girl and is affectionate with those she knows. She is small in size. She would benefit from being in a more quiet home with a person who can spend a lot of time with her. Can you be the one for her ?
