Duke is a 5 year old Belgian malinois X Dutch herder, under the right circumstances he is the most amazing playful boy you will meet. He would love to work, or even have that large secure space he can spend all day in.
Duke is only good with dogs he has met in a controlled environment and has time to adapt to the other dog. But with work could be fixed. He has been around children but tends to try and stay away from them which we've always respected and allowed him that distance, so children would not be suitable. But over time can be trained further. Overall he would need an owner to give him good amounts of time to build a solid relationship for him to show you his goofy personality but with solid training and time he could be a great companion for someone.
I'm having to re-home duke because of his requirements, I'm currently going through bereavement whilst taking care of 3 children. I do not have the time to give Duke what he needs and over the last few weeks you can tell with even the change in his behaviour and it's just not fair on him. I'd love for him to go to a 5 star home where he gets all the loving and affection he desires, with time for training to build him up to be the amazing dog he is.
