We are fostering a lovely puppy from Ukraine named Mishka.
Mishka arrived on 23.05.2024. She is settling in very well. Mishka will be turning 8 months on 15.06.2024.
Highlights:
SIZE: Smallish-medium. Currently 44 cm shoulder height/12 kilos, expected to be 50-52 cm/15-16 kilos when adult.
SPAYED/NEUTERED: Not spayed due to early age.
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Clever, well-balanced, kind.
DOGS: Good with other dogs. Currently lives with three dogs: an 8-year-old blind Husky, a 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd, and a 7-month-old smallish German Shepherd cross.
CATS: Not tested.
CHILDREN: Good with children but recommended for kids 7+.
Here’s what Mishka would say about herself, I guess:
"Hi everyone, I’m Mishka! 🐾
I am a sweet-looking girl. Despite my fluffy, toy-like appearance, I am an active wildlife lover who enjoys long (3-4 hour) walks. I adore water and love playing in shallow streams.
Having a safe, quiet space like a cozy den to rest in is important for me. I enjoy being petted and brushed, and I thrive on gentle affection.
My Challenges:
While I love playing with dogs I know well, I am unsure around strangers, whether they are humans or other dogs.
I have never been home alone, so I may need training to help me feel comfortable if you want me to stay at home on my own for a while. However, I prefer having my humans around."
