Six gorgeous wire-haired standard Dachshund puppies are for sale in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.
There are five bitches and one dogs in the litter, all with wild boar coats.
About Mum - the adorable Harris is our loving family pet. She is obedient, outgoing and in excellent health with a shining brindle coat. Kennel Club registered (Velvet Touch), Harris is doing a great job in her second round of motherhood, supported by her own mother (Lottie) who is still at home.
About Dad - Hamish is a handsome Wire-Haired Standard stud from the Cottershot Kennels breeders in Yorkshire. He is full pedigree and Kennel Club registered (Fosterwold Hamish), with a lovely wild boar coat.
Since the birth of the puppies on March 11th 2025, they have been raised in the heart of our family home. They are energetic, social and comfortable interacting with our other family dogs and visitors.

Since weaning, the puppies have been fed on top quality raw puppy food;
Prior to sale the puppies will be Kennel Club registered, fully vaccinated and regularly wormed;
In addition, mother Harris has been screened for intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), which is a relatively common degenerative spinal disorder which can impact all dogs but particularly the Dachshund breed. Thankfully Harris was given the all clear with zero calcification noted - I can provide the paperwork relating to this screening upon request.
In terms of my background, I am an experienced breeder now on my eighth litter of Wire-haired Standard Dachshunds. I have sold over 56 puppies to happy owners, including many repeat buyers - with some returning for three generations! My breeding philosophy is based on quality, home-rearing practices.
