Tik Tok: Pearl Brtishshorthair ,@pearlbluekitty P.s For Active registered kittens price is £1350 Blood type B. Cinnamon gene. Not carried Longhair gene. Thinking of getting a purebred kitten? Here’s what you need to know first: 1. Genetic testing matters. Every breed has certain hereditary health risks. Responsible breeders test the parents to avoid passing down genetic diseases. 2. Registration & documents = proof. No papers? No guarantee. Without registration, the kitten might not be truly purebred. And without official documents, you can’t check the lineage — which means you can’t be sure there’s no inbreeding (a major risk for health and behavior issues). 3. Breed preservation & quality. A true breeder works to preserve the breed, not just produce kittens. Mixing breeds without knowledge or tracking bloodlines destroys breed standards and may lead to serious problems. 4. Health first. Vaccination, deworming, flea treatment, and a vet check are the bare minimum before a kitten goes to a new home. If that’s missing — walk away. 5. Avoid backyard breeders. Some sell “purebred” kittens without testing, documents, or care. They may even breed closely related cats — and never tell you. Don’t support that. Be careful who you trust. You're not just buying a kitten — you're choosing a future family member. Make sure you do it right.
