Description
I have 3 lovely birds that have lived together their whole lives except the oldest but she has always lived with other birds. More information below Stella: Stella is a pearl cockatiel who for lack of better words is a little bit special. She has a clubbed foot, a monk patch on her head and her beak isn’t very strong. But once she likes you she will sit asking for pats all the time. Sunny: Sunny is a Plaid cocktail who I have owned since 2021. She came to me in a very bad state she would often wake up in the night having night terrors and it took a lot of work to get her to let me hold her. Due to this she is very anxious and needs someone with a gentle heart. She doesn’t like being pet but she will step up if asked. She looks like a boy but has actually laid eggs before. She’s very prone to trying to nest so whenever she starts you have to take action and move the cage around and remove whatever she’s trying to nest with. She often hounds the Quaker parrot thinking he is her boyfriend but his isn’t interested. Sputnik(Spud): is a Quaker parrot also known as a Monk parakeet. In typically Quaker fashion he is loud and can be quite protective of his cage and his girls. But once he trust you enough to be with you he truly mellows out. He enjoys hiding in dark places suck as under blankets and I’m pretty sure he thinks he’s Stella’s boyfriend. My birds need to be housed together they have always lived with each other since I got them and they met. They shout for each other if separated and look for each other. They are all really cute. I believe they would do well in an aviary. I can’t give them what they need anymore. My situation has changed and they have been rehomed with my father but he hasn’t been well enough to give them anytime at all. They deserve only the best though they definitely need special treatment. If you think you can give it to them please do contact me. The have to be collection only unfortunately as I do not have means of transport. Their cage isn’t suitable and will collapse if moved so they do not come with a cage. I can’t give try and supply moving cages/ box’s but it would be preferable if you could bring your own. These birds are incredibly intelligent creatures these 3 in particular are not for biggers and I cannot stress enough they need someone who knows what they are doing and will love them unconditionally just as I have. Price negotiation able for the right person. (Budgie has been rehomed)
