Description
Beautiful Nala needs a new home. Due to significant family changes - Nala's family can no longer give her the life she deserves.
Nala is 4.5 years old and is spayed and vaccinations are up to date. She is microchipped.
Nala is fine with other dogs but she is not keen on cats.
She is great with children she knows and has two human siblings - one 7 year old and a 1.5 year old and is totally amazing and gentle with them.
Nala sleeps in the kitchen on a dog bed and can be left for a decent time in the house with no problems or issues 4-5 hours max.
Nala walks with a harness and an extending lead and is more of a sniffer than a puller. She has not been trained to walk to heel on a short lead - we would recommend this and a shorter lead for more control.
She is recall trained to current owner and is able to be mostly off lead.
Nala travels fine in the car and has also travelled on Scottish ferries to the islands.
We think her ideal home would be with a family or couple who may be semi retired or working from home- this would ensure Nala had the companionship that she cannot get presently. We also think that she may like a quieter life as she gets older.
However this is only one thought and we are open to other ideas for Nalas family.
What she must have is a secure back garden that she has easy access to and is secured all around to at least 5 ft.
We also want her to have two meet and greets with potential adopters to ensure all parties are satisfied it's right.
All our adopters complete an application, make a deposit and have a videocall homecheck.
In the first instance please send a message with your information about yourself and family, type of home, working patterns and any previous dog experience. We will then forward an application form.
