ROSIE is a very beautiful, large size girl, currently 11 months old. ROSIE weighs 36kg, and is 80cm to top of her head as she stands. She's currently in the Southend on Sea area of Essex. She really epitomizes the expression gentle giant. ROSIE is available for adoption due to a marital breakdown and through no fault of her own. She really is the most wonderful girl, with everyone and everything she meets, people, children, other dogs, and cats. She's gentle, kind, loving and loyal, and has a calm disposition.
Her current owner says:-"Has been very good with recall (have been using the command ‘Rosie, come!”) and is very reward-orientated, as puppies are – she loves liver paste!. Has been off lead many times on the beach / around other dogs. Walks very well on the lead.
Well socialised having attended ‘dog days out’ weekly since settled in post-adoption, seems to love all dogs (especially the little ones!) and has been living with a resident fellow rescue dog and cat the whole times. Likes to play wrestle with the cat!
She travels very well in cars, she especially likes the window a little bit down for some fresh air to sniff.
Sleeps well at night downstairs, was never fond of a crate so not crate trained. Toilet trained.
Is trained to do ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘leave’, ‘wait’.
