Description
Red is our final girl from a litter of ten.
When people meet Red they describe her as the 'quintessential puppy' in that she's very sweet, happy and cuddly, and has a cute distinctive face. She is the smallest of the litter currently and so is expected to be on the smaller scale of standard poodles when she matures (similar to her mum). Visually she currently looks black, but she is a likely Silver (again taking after her mum) as she has lighter indications in her fur around her snout and paw pads (all silvers are born black and then lighten over the months). See this helpful site for a brief idea/understanding: https://www.allpoodleinfo.com/poodle-colors
Red is microchipped, fully vaccinated and wormed, and has had monthly visits to the vet to ensure she is progressing well. She has grown up in a household home, with her siblings, mum, our cat and other elderly family dog. The pups have a good routine, are piddle patch trained as well as use the garden, and know basic commands.
Red will go to her new home with a puppy pack and hamper of familiar toys, smells, food and treats, as well as other comforts such as a bed and other goodies.
Both her parents are fully health checked, hip scored and tested clear of all hereditary diseases. This is my first and only litter with Blue and my reason for breeding is that I have fallen in love with Blue’s character. I adopted her at the age of 2, and she came to me from a troubled background but has grown to be an affectionate, intelligent and caring lady who I would love to retain in my family for generations to come and therefore plan to continue her lineage just one generational litter at a time.
I am looking for a loving home for Red so it will not be on the grounds of 'First Come First Served', and I have a rehoming questionnaire (no right or wrong answers). We have a WhatsApp group with the 7 other puppy owners/families where we regularly share progress, tips and questions, sharing support and wins with one another (although opting in is totally optional and not mandatory). We also plan to do an annual walk with the litter and Blue (again, opting in is optional).

Let me also tell you a little more about Red’s parents…
Blue, her mother, is a stunning silver Poodle girl and is 6. She’s a small standard, has a perfect balanced stature of her breed / standing at 20 inches high (to shoulder) and is 15 kilos in weight. Blue is a very regal looking lady, long neck, straight back, dainty feet and has a dignified youthful manner. She is hip scored and clear of all inherited mutations, and DNA tested for:
Degenerative Myelopathy (Exon 2)
von Willebrand disease Type I (vWD I)
Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE/NEWS)
prcd–PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
rcd4 PRA / LOPRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy)
Her soft silver hair needs regular brushing and combing. She’s a head turner when we are out and soaks up the attention - which she loves - as many people don’t often see a girl like her.
Blue is very much a big part of my family, she loves long walks and joining us on our travel adventures. She is a very loving princess - you will see this for yourself when you come to visit!
