Beautiful chocolate tan 1 year old female dachsund .
Twixe is her name, she is a very caring and loving dog, she loves lots of cuddles and likes to be in the company of people she is close to. She loves to play tug of war and plays gently with my 7 year old little boy. She also likes to play detective whilst on her neighbourhood watch!😀 she's very protective and likes to listen for people or cars coming close to the door and will make little noses or make little barks if she thinks anyone is a little to close to the door who she is not familiar with. Twixe has struggled slightly with understanding that other dogs do not want to be barked at to play but I believe this is a nervous thing she sometimes does when she meets new dogs or new people come in the home but she will stop as soon as she realises she is safe and only does this when my son is present rarely ever when she is walked without him or say he is at school, again she's young and is still learning and she is protective of her family along with a little nervs but that is all it is. She is amazing with young children and will do anything to cuddle up or get into bed with my son, she also enjoys pulling the covers off him in the morning when it Is time to get up, she does this by lightly straching the covers back. She really is adorable.
I have recently got a job that doesn't fit around having a dog and with being a single parent family I can not be there at home for her anymore and it's just not fair on her so we have come to the decision to give her to a family that has more time. We truly do love her and will only allow her to go to a decent home. She will need a garden as she loves the garden and a fairly spacious home. So flats are unfortunately unsuitable for her.
