Meet Astro—a stunning young lad with a sleek grey coat, white markings, and striking blue eyes. Astro is an Old English Bulldog crossed with a Staffie. He is on the lookout for a new home where he can truly flourish. As he’s entered his teenage phase, his energy has become a bit too much for his current family to manage. They originally reached out to his breeder for support, but after being ignored, we stepped in to help Astro find the loving home he deserves.
Astro is full of life and will need ongoing training and plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He’d thrive in an active household where he can enjoy daily walks and ideally have access to a secure garden to burn off his energy and play with his toys. He has so much potential and, with the right guidance, could become the perfect family companion.
At the moment, Astro lives with two older dogs who are finding his boundless energy a bit overwhelming—they’ve even taken to trying to teach him some manners themselves! A home with another playful dog could be a great fit, provided there’s a successful meet and greet. Astro also lives with children, but due to his bouncy and boisterous nature, we’re recommending any children in the home be dog-savvy and aged 12 or over to avoid any accidental knocks.
