Each pairing is carefully planned using only health-tested, genetically clear parents who are free from hereditary conditions commonly seen in the breed, including HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), and PKDef (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency). Further testing for any heart conditions with an echocardiogram every 1.5 years, coupled with hip-xrays to ensure there is no hip dysplasia withing our genetics. We prioritise cats with strong lineage, excellent breeding type, robust bone structure, and loving, well-balanced temperaments — ensuring every kitten is not only stunning but also true to the Maine Coon’s character.
