Dougie is nearly 12 months old and is a Labrador type boy. He’s energetic and needs plenty of exercise. Ideally he would like to live with a similar size dog, possibly a female, although he likes playing with boys too.
Dougie is fully housetrained and his recall is progressing well. He is strong on the lead and wants to play with every dog he sees, so his lead-walk training needs to continue.
He’s sometimes a bit protective over his things, so no young children. Dougie could live in a family with older children and would prefer an active lifestyle.
He can be left but not for very long periods, and it will help if there’s another dog around for him to play with.
He likes to be outside in the garden so no apartment applications unless there’s a garden. Dougie is not massively demanding of his human. Whilst he likes affection, he doesn’t need it all the time so he could live with someone that works from home.
