The locally world famous Kóla is having her hotly anticipated puppies.
Her due date is February 1st. Please register your interest early as there are only 4 puppies in the oven.
About Kóla (Mum - see pictures of black doggo):
Kóla is a Weimaraner / Golden Retriever cross, with the softest heart and the softest silky black coat, and is a highly intelligent and thoroughly trained dog who is a full family member.
She is currently 4 years old, and her three human brothers have grown up together with her.
She lives an A* life in an A* home, and we want her puppies to be similarly fortunate.
Kóla is super-affectionate, very cuddly, energetic but not at all high-strung, and the ultimate child friendly companion.
She is independent and happy on her own, but loves human and canine company. She lives with a family where dad works from home.
She is well-known in the neighbourhood for her sleek shiny looks and her friendly, inquisitive nature.
Her adult weight is about 32-34kg, and she is shaped like a leggy, very tall Labrador, with a slightly elongated snout that reminds of her Weimaraner heritage.
About Archie (Dad - see pictures of brown doggo):
Archie is a Weimaraner / German Pointer cross. He is 6 years old and lives with his dad.
His shape, size and temperament are very similar to those of Kóla, and this is why they have been selected to breed. His coat is a gorgeous, smooth, cappuccino colour, somewhat shorter and firmer than Kóla's.
An absolute gentleman with good training and affable manners, Archie is the perfect groom to Kóla, the bride.
They were made for each other, and we have been planning to breed them for the past 3 years.
About the puppies:
Projected to be born around February 1st, we expect the 4 puppies to be similar in shape and size to their parents, given how similar the two of them are.
Their coat colour and length are a bit of a mystery, and is yet to be seen, but we could be looking at all sorts of variations, from silver Weim colour to black, spotted and anywhere in between.
The puppies will spend their first 8 weeks in a large, enclosed, heated space (our converted garage), and will have plenty of playtime socialising with our human children.
As you would expect, they will come vaccinated, chipped, flea-ed and wormed.
If Kóla and Archie are anything to go by, you are looking at the perfect new family member, with a long, healthy and happy life.
