Description
Dharma is a mix of breeds. Her mother is a Great Dane/Old English Bulldog cross and the father is a Belgian Malinios. I've had her since 9wks and I adore her. My circumstances have changed and for the last 9 months I've had to move my mother, who has dementia, in with me. Due to caring for my mother taking priority I cannot put in the work necessary for such a big dog. Dharma Dood/Doodles needs an experienced handler in a home with no small children. Someone who knows big dogs and how to make her feel safe and secure. She is dreadful on the lead, very anxious. However she loves being off the lead in a field playing fetch and being boisterous with other dogs. Her best pal is Max a Collie. She loves treat training at home and is a clever girl. Though this doesn't translate for her in lead training out and about. She will come with all her belongings. She loves nothing more than to drag her blanket up to bed. She does suckle it to get herself off to sleep. If you think you have the skills and room in your heart to provide her with the right environment, please get in touch. Basically she needs a bloke who can handle her on the lead and whom she can be buddies with! She will follow you whatever job you are doing. A farm or huge garden owner would be ideal. She's also great in the car. She hasn't quite learnt boundaries of not jumping up and licking anyone's face! But she is getting better. She is a dog that needs a job, lots to tire her out. Please ensure you aren't taking her into a home with young children. She has behaved brilliantly with small children in our family, but with her change in behaviour due to now coming into season twice a year and me now not being able to take her out, she would be best suited in an adult home. I wont let her go to a home with little ones. She has been brought up with cats and always says hi with a lick and a rub of noses, but does also like to chase. I'm keen to keep in touch and see how she's doing. I'm happy to answer any questions
