Due to an unanticipated and compelling job offer, I regretfully need to sell my entire chicken setup. Having owned this for just under three months, nearly everything is in excellent condition and has barely been used. This setup has cost over £2000 to achieve the desired configuration and includes everything you need, along with numerous extras to support you and the five exceptional chickens for a long period.
The flock consists of 5 chickens of various breeds, aged between 21 and 25 weeks. They are friendly and well-socialised as I interact with them daily. I’m getting 3 eggs a day currently and there are loads of double yolkers.
Roo, a Red Ranger who lays brown eggs daily, is the smallest yet occupies the top spot in the pecking order.
Pebbles, a Leghorn producing cream eggs every day, is the most curious and approachable.
Mo, a Legbar laying blue eggs approximately 5 days a week, enjoys playing with our cat.
Colonel, a Cochin not yet laying (normal for the breed), is a gentle giant who will comfortably sit with you for hours.
Phynix, a Brahma also not yet laying (normal for the breed), is the largest but the shyest of the flock.
