This is the heartbreaking story of Evie a young dog,
someone’s dog – you can see it in the way she behaves she has been loved. Her trust in people is unwavering, and her heart is still wide open, waiting for a suitable new family to call her own.
Evie is great with other dogs and has no issues around food. She doesn't guard food at all and shares with 2 smaller dogs, can put your hand in the bowl without any aggression.
She lives with 2 small dogs and 5 cats but she chases the cats and chase them so they live upstairs, based on this I would say a cat free home.
Evie is lead trained sadly her current owner is unable to walk her due to health issues which is not good for the dogs mental or physical well-being. Evie has no recall.
Breakfast Evie has pedigree puppy sachet mixed into wagg puppy biscuits feed 6.30-7am
Then fed again between 1.30 and 2 tin of sardines with her biscuits, followed by an evening meal.
Evie is housetrained and never has any accidents indoors.
Triggers;
Triggers for Evie are the garden hose and anything with a hose or makes a noise like a cleaner she will bite and make a game of it .
She loves water in the summer time she gets in the play pool likes to be sprayed with hose , or water guns and water balloons she is a playful puppy that is being led astray by the children.
Evie is ;
Fully vaccinated and microchipped , Sterilised and wormed and flea treated.
Evie has no health issues.
She travels fine in car.
Reasons for re homing;
Evie owner has a son with ADHD and Autism. The son is very aggressive to evie kicking her and jumping on her and he hurts her badly. He teases her until she shapes and the owner is afraid she will bite.
The children are teaching her to her the word ‘attack’ Evie needs to be re-homed quickly to avoid an incident and needs to be re-trained to undo the wrong she has been shown.
At just 1 year old, Evie is still a young dog with so much potential. She adores people and gets along well with other dogs, showing no aggression. Evie is not food dominant and is gentle by nature, making her a lovely companion for both humans and fellow dogs.
Evie is healthy, happy, and ready to start a new chapter in her life in a safe environment free from abuse .
