Callie is truly a gentle and beautiful soul who deserves a loving forever home. We brought her into our family with the hope of providing a companion for our spirited 2-year-old English bulldog. However, we've come to realize that Callie is best suited for a home without other pets, where she can have the quiet space she craves.
Our sweet girl has been feeling overwhelmed by our bulldog's mischievous and playful nature, and as a result, she's recently exhibited some aggressive behaviors towards him. This is not ideal for either of our dogs, and it's heartbreaking to see them struggle. Callie is house-trained and has not had any accidents since joining us, currently on dry food. She is a kind and affectionate dog who thrives on love and cuddles and is very loyal and protective of her family.
Callie does have a slight issue with one of her eyes; she isn’t blind, but she does require steroid drops due to some irritation caused by her hair growing inward. It’s evident she hasn’t had the easiest life and has been passed around, which is simply not fair to her. All she really wants is to be loved and to feel secure.
She enjoys going for walks, but given her past and her recent interactions, we wouldn’t recommend letting her off the lead just yet. We were informed that Callie is between 3 to 4 years old, and we have her microchip details available for her new owner.
