Buddy
Buddy is looking for a new, loving forever-home due to a change in circumstances within our family.
He is full of character, quirks, a little cheeky, sometimes stubborn & very loving. A typical Bulldog personality.
He’s an excellent specimen of his breed, a beautiful colour & stature. He’s stopped all the time to be fussed.
He is 3 years old.
He’s an energetic, confident, strong, healthy young dog. Happy with a few walks a day, lots of play & to cuddle next to you. He’s very clever for a bulldog & learns quickly.
He’s toilet trained, lead & recall trained & can do tricks on command.
He is neutered.
It’s been a really difficult decision to re-home Buddy, but we can’t give him the full attention that he needs anymore & we want to make sure he goes to the perfect new home.
Buddy needs a quieter household, if living with children, older age 8+ only, as young children make him nervous in close proximity indoors.
In the last year Buddy has been displaying some behavioural issues, such as sometimes being reactive on the lead & in certain situations where he feels intimidated, we do feel these can be addressed with proper training, socialisation & time spent with him & we’re happy to discuss this if you have any questions. Otherwise he walks well on the lead & stays close by when off the lead.
We think Buddy will thrive being the centre of attention, getting all the love & time he deserves.
Buddy needs an owner that is calm, assertive & is looking to continue his training as a young dog that loves to learn.
He is intrigued by cats but doesn’t appear to want to harm them & can be good with other dogs. He has boarded with other dogs before.
Buddy has a minor skin condition which is treated with probiotics, & a sensitive shampoo for his ears & paws, this only flares up from time to time (we manage this holistically) & is typical with the breed, aside from this he’s in good health, quick on his feet. He’s fed on a raw diet of minced meat & veg which we find really cost effective.
We adore Buddy & knowing he’s happier & content with his new person is all we want really. His price reflects this & is negotiable based on that he may need training and medication for his skin condition going forward.
