🐶 Initially, rescuers thought she was safe on the streets during the warm summer days. Volunteers provided food and water, believing she would be fine for a short time until a foster home became available. Tragically, this assumption proved wrong. After just five days, SONNY disappeared. She was found in a ditch, her tiny body battered, with a deep gash on her head and covered in blood. Rushed to the clinic, it was a miracle that no bones were broken and her eyes remained unharmed. The wound was determined to be from a knife—not an accident, but a deliberate act of cruelty. Who could harm such a small, innocent soul remains a mystery. Despite her ordeal, SONNY’s resilience shone through, and she healed completely without any lasting physical issues. Now, SONNY is safe and ready to find her forever home, where she’ll never have to face such horrors again.

🐶 SONNY is a playful, active, and affectionate little dog who adores human company. Her favourite activities include chasing toys, cuddling on laps, and leaping high into the air—like a true Chihuahua, her jumps defy her tiny size! She has an open and trusting nature, quickly forming bonds with everyone she meets.
🐶 SONNY is friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company, making her a great companion for a playful and sociable canine sibling. She’s also good with cats, either ignoring them or engaging in gentle play. SONNY loves children and will thrive in a family with kids over 6, as her enthusiastic jumping may be too much for very small children.
