💛 ABOUT CARRIE 💜
Carrie is a sweet, lovable, clumsy doofus who has a fabulous wagging bum. She's incredibly affectionate, and will lean in for a cuddle (sometimes, she practically sits on top of you). She adores a bum scratch or ear rub. She loves picking up wood from the garden for a chew, or playing tug. She also loves eating tissues and paper!
She's very trainable (highly food motivated), picks up on cues. She understands sit, heel, leave it, sometimes touch, definitely understands no, and very occasionally, down. As often happens with dogs at this age, she can easily get distracted!
Outside, she's great with other dogs. She loves to play but can get frustrated when she's unable to say hello. Often we will wait for a dog to go past and say hello, even if she doesn't get a chance to get close which has helped to prevent negative reactions.
She doesn't always like random people, mostly males and can be reactive, but distracting her with a treat can help.
She's great with people once introduced, (especially if they have treats).
She finds unexpected, or unknown movement or noise, scary.
We think she'd be great with a female owner, and possibly the only dog in the house, with the opportunity to socialise with other dogs outside of the house. If she lived with another dog, ideally a similar age and size, who can play at the same level of exuberance!

No known health issues. Carrie is spayed and up to date with her vaccinations.
💛 SUMMARY 💜
Beautiful Carrie is smart and loving and is looking for a female owner to be her world. She is dog friendly but has a lot of energy so if she were to live with another dog, they need to be a good match energy wise! We are happy to discuss the reasons behind her returns with any potential adopter.
