Albie is in foster in Northamptonshire and he is now ready for his new home. Albie was in a shelter in Northern Spain and was discarded by a hunter. He is negative to Mediterranean diseases.
Albie is 2 years old (DOB 1/8/2022). He is 58cm high, 66cm long and 22.3kg.

Albie has been with us for two weeks and settled, really well. He’s a calm, alert, polite boy with a sweet nature. He gives the impression that he has been lead trained and likes to sniff but does not pull. His recall at the dog field was also impressive, considering the short time he has been here. Albie lives with our 8 year old Bleu. He follows her around and waits for her to catch up, when out on walks-I’m sure that she doesn’t notice but it’s an example of his nice character. He would be fine with another dog. We have three cats, chickens and ducks, that happily exist around him. He has also not shown any interest in squirrels. He is a bit wary of strangers approaching him but that is improving. Albie loves his bed and fuss. He happily rolls over for a belly rub. He is not overly food orientated but that may change, the more comfortable he becomes.
Please message if you are interested with information about your family, ages of everyone in the home, existing pets & work hours. All enquiries will be looked at. We only rehome to England, Wales & Scotland.
Please note: We are looking for a secure garden with fencing or walls to a minimum of 5ft. We also need the dogs to be kept on a lead, long lunge lead or for people to use enclosed fields for off lead exercise as these dogs are scent hounds & have hunting backgrounds. We do not rehome with children under 8 years old.
