These beautiful babies have been handled since birth and will be until they leave us at 8 weeks old to ensure they are tame and ready for their new homes. We do ask for money up front to save them. This helps prevent any let downs. We take great pride in our breeding process, making sure both mother and father are happy and healthy before any pairing takes place. We continue to check on the health of the mother and the babies throughout the whole process. We have been breeding rats for around 5+ years in total with a little break in between. We feed our rats on a homemade mix similar to the one found at Rat Nation. This ensures that all our rats get a well balanced diet. This is also the food the babies will grow up on while in our care. Rats are great pets - they are very intelligent and love exploring. Rats are social creatures, therefore they need to be kept in groups and given lots of attention. For this reason, we will only sell in pairs or more of male and male or female and female. We kindly ask that you make sure you have the correct size cage with small spacing between the bars. We may sometimes ask to see your setup just to ensure our rats are going to a safe and loving home. We also sell the following: ● Rat food mix ● Substrate (wood shavings 20kg bales) ● Shredded cardboard ● hammocks ● blankets ● cage cleaning equipment We recommend having lots of ropes and hammocks, etc in the cage for the rats as well as plenty of toys too. Please note that, whilst babies can be legally sold at 6 weeks, we like to keep ours for 8 weeks to ensure they are big enough, and healthy and strong. We will not let them leave before 6 weeks old. They will be ready at 8 weeks. They are £20 each. Please do not expect to be able to pick out which babies you want until the day you collect as their colours/patterns change as they get older.
