Meet Penny, Penny is a very loving, sweet girl who enjoys the company of her favourite people. She has thrived in her home and made amazing progress. She loves being outside sunbathing in the garden and being out on her walks. Food is her favourite and she loves lots of treats.
Penny can be nervous of new people visiting the home however will calm down very quickly. She can try to avoid people if they approach her too quickly however once settled she will approach them for a sniff.
Penny accepts a collar, harness and lead. She can be a little shy while this is being put on however she loves her walks and is very happy to go out. Penny is reactive to other dogs while outside. She walks well on the lead and rarely pulls. She is good with people and children on walks however she can become startled if they approach her too quickly.
Penny would need a garden in her new home, she loves to be outside sunbathing and enjoying the outside space.
Penny has previously lived with children who she was very good with, she hasn't been around children in her current home. She can live with children 8+ following sensible introductions.
Penny does have a prey drive and can be reactive and bark at cats so would need a cat free home.
Penny currently lives with another dog who she is very good with. She can live with another dog following slow and sensible introductions.
Penny is toilet trained but is not crate trained. She has never been destructive and has been left alone for up to 1 hour with no issues. Penny would need someone who is home most of the time to keep her company. Penny sleeps well overnight, she can bark if she hears outside noise but generally sleeps well. She will need to go out to the toilet before bed to prevent accidents.
