URGENT: Mr. Happy Needs a Home – Can You Be His New Family?
Meet Leo, the black Lab with a heart full of joy and a nickname that says it all: Mr. Happy. At around 4 to 5 years old, Leo has a contagious zest for life that will brighten your days and fill your heart with happiness. Abandoned in the South of Spain and facing the heartbreaking reality of life in a dreadful perrera (shelter), Leo was at risk of being euthanized. Now, he's safe and waiting for someone to offer him the family and love he truly deserves.
Leo is a sociable, friendly guy who absolutely loves human contact. His playful nature makes him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active, joyful dog. He’s great with other dogs and loves to run, play, and make new friends. While he hasn’t been tested with cats, Leo’s gentle demeanor with dogs and people suggests he could adapt well in a cat-free home.
At 18-20 kg, Leo is a healthy, active Lab with a wonderful temperament. He’s housetrained and has no bite history, making him a safe and loving addition to any home. Leo walks well on the lead and is excited for adventures, though his recall could use a little work, as he’s still learning the ropes of proper listening.
This bouncy, fun-loving boy would be a fantastic fit for a family, whether as an only dog or alongside another furry companion. He’s good with children and has the energy and heart to bring so much joy to your home.

We are “H4P” a Spanish and UK rescue. We rescue dogs from kill shelters and rehome them here in the UK. Adoption fees vary depending on the urgency of the adoption. Each dog can be reserved with a further £100 deposit.£395 total Payment plans are available upon request. All our dogs come neutered if old enough, fully vaccinated, health checked, flea’d and wormed.
