Here for sale are 4 beautiful male African Pygmy Hogs.
They are 16 weeks old and ready for their new homes!
APH originating from Africa, require a temperature around room temperature.
They thrive in a zoozone cage, vivarium or other similar enclosure. Theyre enclosure should be at least 90cm long.
APH naturally cover several miles a day roaming, a large wheel is perfect for them to exhibit their natural behaviour to roam.
Bedding should consist of a 1-2ā layer of Carefresh or Megazrob. Alternatively fleece is a popular way to provide a comfy cosy house.
APH diet consists of a bulk of high protein kitten food (ideally chicken flavoured), Mario worms, locusts and crickets (these can be dried!) boiled egg, as well as an occasional treat of banana.
APH naturally bathe in sand in the wild and absolutely love rolling around in it and playing, they also love a bath in luke warm water with a scrub using a toothbrush.
They make absolutely fantastic pets and are handled from 2 weeks old so love being handled and cuddled. They adore a roam around the house and will find a snuggly place to have a little snooze.
APH are low maintaince pets and are guaranteed to make you laugh with their quirky personalities.
Males & Females are the same in personality however males can be territorial toward other Hogs. Living solitary in the wild, ideally need to be kept alone.
