Our guinea pig pair have had 4 babies. We intended to keep them all but they are all males and it has proved to be too complicated, especially as Georgie, the father, got back with Snowy, the mother, just after she'd given birth. This was not planned and we have had to make doubly sure it won't happen again. She is very pregnant and due anytime. This will definitely be her last litter.
So we have come to the heartbreaking decision to sell at least two of our precious boys. They must go to 5* homes only, preferably indoors, at least over the winter. And they must go in pairs (unless 1 is going to breed with females). I will not let them go on their own. I will always have them back if circumstances change.
These are very dear pets and if male guinea pigs could all be housed together we would keep them.
A photo of their accommadation would be appreciated.
