KUZIA is an 8-month-old small (smallish medium)-sized boy with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. Dachshund-GSD cross on short paws. He arrived in the UK a month ago, but sadly, his foster home is too noisy for him, and he is struggling to settle. He must have another calm and friendly dog in his new home to help him feel safe and grow in confidence.

" Kuzia has a gentle and calm nature and loves quiet affection and cuddles on his terms. He thrives when attention isnโt constantly demanded of him and this is rewarded mostly with calm companionship, however like most puppies he has super zoomies and loves a good play fight! He can really demand attention when he wants to and loves to play, but does settle down well afterwards.
He has proved to be somewhat timid of men so will need patience so he can take the time to warm up to them, but he does come round in time and isnt at all aggressive, he prefers to leave the room when feeling overwhelmed. We can confidently say that he is one of the most beautifully gentle dogs we have ever met.
We feel that he would thrive in a quiet environment, either a more peaceful town/village or a rural environment due to anxiety around traffic noise. We are currently fostering him in a city near some busy roads and unfortunately he isnt comfortable in this kind of environment. The outskirts of a city may be ok if it is away from busy roads and lots of traffic.
Kuzia ideally needs to be adopted with a confident, gentle and playful dog that will show him the ropes and prove that there's nothing much to worry about.ย We think that with the right environment and a bit of guidance from the right furry friend he would settle in very well and be a beautiful, loyal companion to anyone."
Rescue Story
KUZIA and his brother were found abandoned near a petrol station, their tiny bodies starving and frail. In the scorching summer heat, with no food or water, they were barely surviving. KUZIA, too weak to stand, was fighting for his life when rescuers found him. But even in his most fragile state, his gentle spirit shone through. With love and care, he made a full recovery, and now he dreams of finding the home where he will finally feel safe and cherished.

KUZIA is a tender, sensitive boy who thrives in calm, quiet environments. He is incredibly gentle, loyal, and affectionate, but he struggles with loud noises and busy surroundings. In his current foster home, the constant traffic noise is overwhelming him, and he has been unable to settle.
He was placed in a home as the only dog, and this completely shut him downโfor over a week, he hid in his crate, too afraid to come out. But the moment his foster took in another dog, KUZIA started to open up. Having a canine companion gave him the confidence to explore, play, and interact with his humans.
KUZIA MUST have another calm, friendly dog in his forever homeโa kind, reassuring presence who will help him adjust to new situations and make him feel secure.
Ideal Family
KUZIA needs a quiet, patient home away from busy roads and loud environments. His ideal family will already have another gentle, well-balanced dog who can help guide him. He would do well with calm, understanding children who will respect his space and let him come out of his shell at his own pace.
KUZIA has already been through so much, and now he needs a home that truly understands his needs. He is not a dog who will adjust overnightโhe needs time, patience, and a kind hand to show him that the world is not so scary.

KUZIA is fully healthy. Neutered. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
