Pip is a little black patterdale who holds few surprises - what you see is what you get. After he gets to know you he is friendly, affectionate, listens to you and responds to you.
He is a typical terrier in that he likes to know what is going on around him, what sniffs he can discover. He is not extreme in his terrier behaviours - he is easily distracted and he will walk on from that pesky squirrel, from that dog he may have have come across who Pip doesn't know.
Pip is a patterdale who embodies all the traits of this wonderful breed. He is alert, affectionate, fast moving on a walk (when he wants to be). Like all terriers he can never be off lead as the urge to explore might be too strong for him and he must be kept safe. He would need a secure garden of course and all the usual things that the rescue stipulates - but he would always want to be close to you because Pip loves company - he really is a great little dog.
Can’t be homed with other pets or young kids.
