We are having to rehome our Shih tzu Chewie.
He’s very sweet. He loves a fuss and doesn’t like to be left on his own for too long.
He’s great off the lead in a park and his recall is good if bribed with food.
He’s good with other dogs but does get intimidated if they’re bigger or get too close to him.
He’ can be the only dog in the household or preferably housed with a smaller calm dog (see my other advert for our shihpoo).
He’s very stubborn but will work for food.
He’s impeccably house trained.
Good with children but would suit living with older children in a quiet home.
Younger children are ok if they’re just visiting.
He can growl if he’s pulled about too much.
He’s not a morning dog. He likes to be lazy in the morning and is super grumpy until he’s had his breakfast.
He loves to play with his toys. He’s good in the car (we don’t feed him before a journey as he can become car sick) and he loves a trip to the beach.
Health wise he’s very healthy.
Chewie needs a home that will be forever, who will love him and give him the care and attention he needs.
