Loki ~ 4 years old
Loki is a full bred Tri Border Collie from a working farm.
DOB: 10.02.2021
Loki is a special boy, who requires a lot of attention / all the attention needs to be on solely him. He will require an individual/ young couple who are super active and willing to give him long walks on trails / who hike hills on a regular basis.
He requires a home where he is the ONLY DOG and NO CHILDREN and someone with Collie experience as he can be a lot at times.
Lokis traits:
He is always on the go
He loves any sort of ball
He will bark continuously to get any sort of attention
He needs a strict daily routine
He doesn't do well with changes
He is trained indoors and out
He is crate trained
He enjoys being by himself and receiving attention from humans
He is not a cuddly dog, but he does love a good belly rub and kisses
He can socialize with other dogs well
Lokis current family:
Loki has been with his current owner since he was 9 weeks old.
Lokis current family have not long welcomed their daughter into the world and this has been a challenging experience for all of them.
Loki has become very distressed with the changes of a new home, and a new baby that he has become unmanageable to the current owner. He has become extremely barky, and very snappy when told off / isn't receiving all of the attention to the extent he is now drawing blood from his owners.
For the best interests of Lokis welfare and to ensure he has the life that he deserves his current owners have taken deep consideration and put a lot of thought into what is best for Loki, themselves and their daughter.
This has not been an easy decision on the owners, he has been their entire world up until now and they know they can't give him everything he requires to succeed in his life.
The individual/ couple interested in Loki MUST be willing to put a lot of time into him, and willing to work with a dog trainer if necessary.
The current owners requests
He must be the only dog in the household.
No full time workers where he will be left for long periods of time throughout the day.
Must have Collie experience.
No children / plan to have children in the near future.
Must be willing to put their heart & soul into working with Loki.
Must have a secure back garden.
Are willing to give updates on Loki every couple of months.
