Description
We've had Molly since the day she was born. She's the daughter of our other dogs, mum is a Borador (border collie and labrador cross) and her dad is a Pug (see family pic). She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up at every opportunity. She is quite a stocky dog and is getting quite strong, especially for her size. She is good on her lead (we’ve been using a harness) and settles on her walks after a few minutes. Although she has been raised around dogs, she is wary of strange dogs and people and is quite reactive & will bark a lot until she has sussed them out and therefore has not experienced other dogs off-leash. Molly has recently begun to show dominance over her sister, who we also kept from the same litter which is the reason we have to rehome her. I have been studying from home so Molly has not been left for long periods so would suit someone who is not out all day and who can give her the attention and focus that she needs, including lots of long walks and probably be in a single dog household. She can follow basic commands (sit, paw, wait and ‘bedtime’) and is very food-orientated with her training, (cheese and cocktail sausages especially). She loves (strong) chew toys, filled Kongs and puzzles and loves to play fetch in the park (see video). She is a barker especially when the doorbell goes/loud noises and is not a fan of fireworks. Molly has not had direct contact with anyone under the age of 16 years of age so I would say she's not suitable for a family with young children, as she is very boisterous. She has only been on short car journeys and was fine (but did want to look out of the window) and has been fine with her visits to the vet for her jabs and checks.
