Description

Our dog is just coming up 10 months. She’s a wonderful dog, we just didn’t know what we were getting into! Dalmatians are active and willful and - fun! Unfortunately I don’t have the mental ability to keep her occupied and I have a disabled son at home who occupies my time too and she has unfortunately made things harder for us, not better as we thought she would. She is a lovely, sweet girl, she is fully house trained and brilliant at letting you know what she needs. She knows all the usual stuff and is good on a walk with a lead although we did get a 2posh2pull harness too, so she is used to that also. Recall isn’t so good but she’s a teenager; everything else in the world is better than parents right now! She’s not good with cats, due to wanting to play with them and the cats not wanting to be squished by a giant. Kids - she has been brought up around my children, although my youngest is 11. She is a medium sized dog so tiny kids would probably get knocked over with her boisterousness but she’s a lovely sweet girl and adores her humans. She is wary of strangers and other dogs but not at all reactive; she just wants to run away, the big scaredy cat. I think she would suit a farm or a large house/garden with lots of room to run about in and a resident dog/pack who can teach her how to be a dog. She is loved completely so she can’t go anywhere that won’t love her just the same. She is our family baby. She can’t be neutered until she is 2, as per the vets. She is up to date on everything she should be. This isn’t an easy decision. We all love her and adore her - this is a mental health decision, not a wanted one. Price is negotiable for the right people and place.
