Regretfully, we are looking to rehome our labrador, Arlo, due to a move overseas. He is 8 years old but very active and healthy, a hugely loved part of our family.
Arlo is a great guard dog with a big bark, but actually a big baby - loves cuddles and being around people. He loves to walk and play but, equally, sleeps for large parts of the day (a perfect balance!).
He is very well-trained, never goes on the furniture (though would love to) and is very happy having time to himself as well as loving contact with his people.
We are looking for a warm, loving individual or family to take him on and give him all he deserves for his remaining years.
Arlo gets on well with other dogs so could possibly live with one other dog, but would prefer to be on his own.
Only rehoming due to change in circumstances as we cannot take him with us abroad.
Arlo has a low-fat diet, on which he is super happy and healthy (but cannot eat scraps or anything with high fat concentration), just to be aware.
Ideally we would phase a move so he can get comfortable with his new owners (Gloucestershire-based would be best). Serious enquiries only, please. Despite listing, no money is being asked - we just want to find the right home for him!
