This is probably the most heartbreaking advert I will ever post.
He we have Bert my 2 nearly 3 year old bordoodle. I am going to be as completely honest as I can be about Bert. I am looking to rehome to an adult only home or a home with much older teenagers. Bert has always been around my children who are very dog savvy . Unfortunately from a very young age Bert has resource guarded pretty much anything he can . We have tried various ways to train him out of this but to no avail. He’s also the most vocal dog I have ever met . He is a major barker he barks to go out and to come in. When the door knocks or when he hears anything outside. Another thing we have tried to train out of him. He is the most cleverest escape artist ever so a secure garden is an absolute must. He absolutely hates travelling in a car despite us taking him out in the car at least once a week . He is walked religiously twice a day and 99% of the time his recall is fantastic very rarely do we have an issue getting him back. He’s been really good with other dogs but occasionally has put his fur up at another entire male. Cats he will chase but he does live with our older cat who will show him who is boss. Due to circumstances around Bert’s behaviours I am looking to rehome him and definitely no younger children to be in the home . He needs a home that will give him his walks because that’s what he absolutely lives for. Who will love him and be able to give him the space he needs when he just needs the break or wants to snuggle up with a blanket where no one can touch it. But also be able to give him the cuddles he deserves . As much as I have pointed out his bad behaviours I want who ever is reading this to know he is the most loved dog ever and I wish I wasn’t in this position where I have to do this but due to a couple of incidents within the house I truly believe this is what is right for Bert. I am happy to discuss this further with anyone who is interested .
