Description

Available to knowledgable homes only. I currently have a litter, which was conceived out of wedlock, while we were abroad in February. Our agency ‘pet sitter’ was given instructions to keep our amorous male labrador separated from our labrador bitches, with two of our dogs known to be in season. Unfortunately, the result was a litter of seven bitch puppies whelped on the seventh of April! Both Sire and Dam have excellent pedigrees; having undergone all the relevant health tests to include hips, elbows, eyes, and DNA. I have kept Labradors since 1991 and have bred the occasional litter of puppies. It has always been my intention to keep labradors that are biddable; this amounts to owning labradors that are receptive to training and are obedient. I have always kept a working strain of labrador as I am not a fan of the show type of labrador that are less agile, have broader heads, shorter legs, and deeper chests. The working strain make excellent pets as they are fitter, loyal, possess excellent temperaments and are easily trained to come back to the recall, and to not chase other animals. This can be achieved with minimal training. These desirable traits are inevitably passed down to their progeny. We live on a small farm and keep poultry and sheep, any labradors that chase livestock are not suitable in such an environment. The Dam ‘Willow’ was sired by a FTW, this bitch is large for a labrador and is very obedient and loves human company, she will often place her head under your hand when out walking. Willow has picked up on game shoots in the past. The Sire ‘Bear’ is Sired by FTCH Stauntonvale Moose Milk. Bear is a puppy at heart, he is a large, big, and bold dog, and loves to retrieve. There is not a bad bone in this dog’s body, he has been used as a peg dog in the past. Both dogs are owned by us and can be viewed with the puppies. The puppies have been registered with the Kennel Club and will be health checked when seven weeks old, this will also include first immunisation and microchipping. The puppies will be ready for collection at eight weeks of age with the usual KC insurance. £200 will secure a puppy. We are happy to show our puppies via WhatsApp video calls. We like the prospective owners to visit our puppies on at least one occasion, but we understand if this is too difficult. We are happy to meet halfway when puppies are ready for collection, as we understand it can be quite a jaunt to our small farm in West Wales. There will be regular photo updates as the puppies grow and develop. Please ask for additional photos, WhatsApp live videos or feel free to ask any questions that you might have?
