Wimsey is a lovely fat teddy bear of a cat. Don’t believe his sad little eyes, he’s a happy, cuddly, gentle giant who loves being close to his humans, will follow you around and make little biscuits with his paws on the sofa next to you.
Wimsey was dumped by his previous owners and developed panleukopenia and ringworm on the streets. The fact he survived panleuk, which is often fatal, shows what a strong boy he is - he knew he needed to survive and get a lovely life in a proper forever home. Now he’s recovered, he will not have any recurring issues as a result of the panleuk (in fact, he’ll now be immune) or the ringworm.
Wimsey was very depressed in a rescue setting with lots of other cats but loves being in his foster home by himself, getting all the attention. He didn’t fight with the other cats and we think he’d be fine with one companion but he was overwhelmed being with so many others. He was very lazy in the rescue and spent most of his time sleeping but now he’s in foster he’s become a kitten again and enjoys playing. Saying that, his foster is out at work frequently and he’s fine being alone in the flat so he’d be good for someone who works outside the home. While he’s been indoors ever since he was rescued, he’s started showing an interest in going outside so some outside space would be good.
Wimsey is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered and can’t wait to meet you :)
