Description
FOR ADOPTION - ERNIE - HAVANT
Meet Ernie, a 7 year old male French bulldog. Such a endearing chap, and due to surgery in his younger days has a mis-shapen ear, which makes him even more cute when he gives you his head tilts.
Ernie is a loveable companion who loves going in the car in adventures. Fully house trained and likes long snoring spells especially when it’s rainy day.
Ernie enjoys walks and has a great recall. He also has a passion for playing with his toys although he will chew soft plush squeaky ones!
His other passion is for mud, nothing like a good roll around to make him happy.
Ernie can get excited and jump up, but he soon calms down, he responds to basic commands and walks well on lead. Because of his initial excitement no children under 7 in the home. He is on the larger side for his size and will need a continued weight management plan.
He is fine with other dogs not overly social with them, he has no bad behaviour towards them just shows no interest. He is motivated by food and treats so he responds well to commands and training.
Overall a true gent, he loves laying under a blanket and will squeeze himself into small spaces! He amuses everyone in his foster home.
He prefers not to be in the crate and is inquisitive and content. He will make a remarkable companion, he loves men! And likes to be in the thick of any action, overall a little diamond!
