🐾 Her Rescue Story:
🐶 LOLA’s journey began 6 years ago in heartbreak. She was left behind on the streets, abandoned—but with a cruel kindness. Whoever left her had placed her blanket and food bowl beside her, as if that could replace the love she had lost. A kind-hearted volunteer found her while walking her own dog, and LOLA became one of the first souls welcomed into her small home shelter.
For a year, she lived in rescue before being adopted into what seemed to be her forever home. She had five years of love, companionship, and security—until she lost it all again. The elderly lady who adopted her could no longer care for her, and so LOLA was returned. Now, at 8 years old, she is searching for a home once more.
🏡 More About LOLA:
🐶 LOLA is not a dog for a busy household, nor one for playful children. She is calm, gentle, and deeply attached to her person. She doesn’t need toys or games—she just needs you. She wants to be near you, to sit on your lap, to sleep beside you. In a multidog environment, she suffers, unable to get the closeness she craves.
🐶LOLA is house-trained, walks well on a lead, and is friendly with everyone, though she prefers the company of people over other animals. She currently lives in a foster home with over 20 dogs and 6 cats, and she gets along with all of them. She tolerates cats, friendly and does not engage with them, and she would be happiest as the only dog in the home: not because she not friendly, she is. But because she was missing human companionship for so long.

🐶 LOLA would be perfect for a quiet home, ideally with a person or couple aged 50+, who wants a devoted companion to share their days. She does not need high-energy walks or playful interactions—just a warm lap, a soft bed, and a person to love. For someone looking for a deeply connected, affectionate dog, LOLA is perfect.
