14.2hh 5 year old Connemara mare by Earlson, both parents are class 1, N/N for hoof wall.
Isla is exceptional on the ground and can be handled by anyone even children, she is good to shoe, box, clip etc.
She is a very forward thinking pony and likes to get on with her job, since buying her from Ireland she has done a little bit of everything, dressage, showjumping, cross country, pleasure rides etc, she loves going out on the lorry and is the first to load up to see where she can go next. She has never said no to anything we have asked of her and is always wanting to please.
Isla hacks alone or in company, Isla will make an incredible allrounder or eventing pony as she likes to have a varied work load and gets bored in the school. Isla has been out on hound exercise last winter and was incredibly behaved, standing still when needed and not strong at all cantering behind others. Showjumping she absolutely loves and has done a few competitions and done very well, we have been to a couple of cross country courses to school and again she loves this and has been giving a lead to the other horses over fences, ditches and into water, she is super confident. Because Isla is so young and quite forward going she is not a novice ride and needs someone who would want to ride at least 4 times a week, that said you can leave her for a week and get back on with no problems at all. I am only selling her as I have back problems and am really struggling to ride at the moment and she is not being ridden enough and cant go out and do the fun stuff she wants to do.
