Description
When Missy came to us she was a sad and underweight girl. She was lucky and found herself a fabulous foster home to wait in until she finds her new forever family and she has blossomed, she is now a healthy weight which her carers are maintaining.
Missy has a fabulous personality, she loves her food and will become vocal if her after breakfast treat of a toothbrush chew doesn’t arrive on time or is forgotten!
Missy loves her toys and has her own toy box, she meets her foster family with her favourite in her mouth when they return home, then it is time to play. She is very bright and knows what is hers, even if this is a newly purchased toy, taking it from your hand or bag, she enjoys finding treats in her puzzle balls and snuffle mat.
Missy has not been destructive when left on her own and will only chew on her toys and chew treats. She is a very clean girl and there have been no accidents in the house. She knows how to let you know that she wants something.
She is a very loving girl who is happy to curl up on an evening and watch TV. She knows it is bedtime and will take herself off to bed with a toy she has carefully chosen.
Missy is very active and will need a few decent walks each day. Her foster carers are working on her reaction to other dogs which can vary between nervous and reactive. She is looking for a home where there are no other dogs and she cannot be rehomed with cats. She travels very well in the car and really does enjoy an adventure.
Missy has proven to be very much a man’s dog, she loves them both but much prefers the company of her foster Dad to her foster Mum. Missy can live with children over the age of over the age of 12 years of age.
If you have a lot of love to give and would like to offer Missy her forever home we would love to hear from you so please get in touch.
