We have two of our lovely girls looking for retirement homes.
Sadly, Stella and Orchid are looking for new homes now they have retired from breeding. They both need a quieter pace of life in a smaller group of cats where they can be showered with love and affection.
Since being neutered in October, the girls place in the group has changed and we feel it would be better for both of them to be part of a smaller group of neutered cats
It is often the case that neutered and unneutered cats don’t always get on so this decision has been taken in the best interests of the girls even though we’d much rather they could stay with us.
Stella is a 3.5 year old black silver tortie tabby and white. She has had 2 litters with us and has given us the most beautiful babies over the years. She came to us at just over a year old, very nervous and not well socialised. It’s took us a long time to win her over and although she isn’t a full on lap cat, she will still come for a cuddle and likes to be brushed on her terms. She thrives on attention and has done really well since being with us, having more input than she previously had. Stella would benefit from a small group of 2/3 other cats. She’s fine with dogs of any size 🐾 she’s also used to being around young children.
Orchid is a black solid girl. She’s 2.5 years old and has had one litter with us. Being a mum wasn’t for her as she needed a lot of support to look after her babies. She came to us from Russia at 6 months old. She is a beautiful girl who is obsessed with people, she chats all day long, wants to be brushed and stroked and loves all the attention you can give. Orchid is very easy going and would be happy as long as she gets lots of love and attention. Orchid is also fine with dogs of any size and young children.
Both girls are up to date with vaccinations, flea and work treatments. They’re microchipped and fully health tested for HCM, SMA and PK-Def.
All our cats live in our home with our dogs and are part of our family. They are well used to the goings on of a busy household and are happy and well socialised.
Both girls are excellent examples of Maine coons, from champion lines with multiple international and world champions in their pedigrees.
They are both dual registered with GCCF and TICA. They will come with all registration paperwork and pedigree as well as some food to get you started and some toys to help them settle in.
As with our kittens, you will get a lifetime of support and advice if you choose to rehome one of our girls. The right home for each of them is absolutely the most important thing to us, so please let us know a bit about yourself.
